Dropping a character? Going on hiatus? We're sorry to see you go for any reason, but please be responsible and make sure to drop a note before you do. Giving a reason is not mandatory, but a considerate gesture to your fellow players if you go on hiatus to help gauge if they can contact you at all. A hiatus can last for a maximum of six weeks, and then we ask that you check in. If you require more time, we'll work with you, but we need to know you're still there and still want to come back. You have a week to check in after your hiatus expires before your character will be dropped from the game at the next Activity Check.

Hiatus [Advance Notice for 12/22/14~01/15/15]

I'll be going to Japan from 12/22 until 01/05, and then will be returning to the US on 01/13, hence big time hiatus! I may then need a couple days to get situated, and then I should be back.

So, this isn't effective immediately, but I thought to put it up here in advance. I'll probably make a post to the OOC comm before I actually go, though.

I tacked a couple of days to the end of your return date (putting you on hiatus until Jan. 15) so that if you do need a couple of extra days they've already been worked in. Obviously you are always welcome to come off of hiatus earlier than that.
